Radio Pear with Madge & Monty

Madge & Monty are British - Hoorah! Because they're British they listen to Radio Pear which like them is frightfully British too - Hoorah! Gordon Brown says we should celelbrate being British. Hoorah! This blog is dedicated to all things British. Hoorah! If you went to the Edinburgh Festival in 2006 you might have seen Madge and Monty at Linsay's Bar in Brunswick Street most nights in their show "Radio Pear with Madge and Monty - absolutely free! HOORAH! If you didn't then that's ok.

About Me

My photo
Brian Damage
Many years ago I was quite good at drawing, painting, scribbling, diddling and doodling, not to mention twiddling, fiddling and dribbling… in fact anything that involved sitting on a couch. Despite having a few cartoons and drawings published in my youth this was a talent I chose to neglect. Not anymore! I am currently in the middle of my second or third mid-life crisis. This seems to be age related and something to do with giving up smoking. Rather than buy a Harley Davidson and get run over I decided to get a better camera and dedicate the rest of my miserable life to wandering around like a strange person talking to myself, photographing inanimate objects and other humorous beautiful and horrendous works of Mother Nature. Some of these are pictures, some are just suggestions to be enhanced with brush, pen, pencil, and by no means least computer. Some will end up in the bin. Most will make no sense. I will add to (or reduce) this verbal drivel as and when I have some idea what the hell I am doing. This may take some time… How come everything tastes like chicken... except KFC?
